DDR2 Features

• DDR2 SDRAM - double data rate two synchronous dynamic random access memory
• DDR2 supersedes DDR technology and transfers data at twice the rate of DDR
• Higher bus rates and higher peak rates than earlier memory technologies
• Provides a reduction in power consumption of 65% compared to DDR modules
• 1.8V supply voltage, compared to DDR's 2.5V or 2.6v
• BGA package (vs. TSOP) for better signal integrity
