Centon Electronics Releases Preliminary DDR 3 Memory Modules
Aliso Viejo, CA (April 24, 2007) - Centon Electronics,
Inc., a leader in the engineering and development of leading-edge DRAM memory
module technology, announced the introduction of DDR 3 memory products to the
Centon product line.
Engineer, Scott Fair, states that “Centon’s plan for steady, controlled
growth has been an important recipe for success over the years. Our ability
to quickly release new module technology helps us to stay ahead of our competition.
As the market moves into Q3 & Q4, DDR 3 is one of many innovative releases
we are planning for 2007 and beyond.” Furthermore, Centon Engineer Boba
Popovich states: “Once motherboard platform growth ramps, Centon will
be ready with DDR3 as demand increases. Our plan is to continue the full testing
and validation process as this new technology develops.”
Centon has built, tested and released 512MB and 1GB Modules. 1GB and 2GB kits

2GB modules are being developed and the planned release date is end of July
2007 based on the available 1GB DDR3 dram chips.
