Warranty Terms and Conditions
All sales are final, shipped FOB origin and payable in U.S. Dollars. Centon’s maximum liability on any order shall be limited to the purchase price stated on the invoice. Any claim for shortage, damage, or shipment error must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods. Claims must be sent to via email.
Centon provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser of products manufactured by Centon. Such products shall be free from defects in workmanship. Centon’s sole obligation in such event shall be Centon’s option to either; 1) repair, 2) replace, or 3) credit the value of the product (based on the lower of the actual purchase or market price on the date the defective product is returned.) The length of the warranty varies as stated below.
Proof of purchase with date will be required on all products. Products returned damaged or with tampered or missing labels will void the warranty.
Centon shall not be liable to any person or entity for any incidental, consequential, indirect, and special or punitive damages of any kind, loss of information or data, loss of revenue, loss of business or other financial loss arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of Centon products or services. Legal jurisdiction will be the County of Orange, California.
Centon shall not be obligated to repair or replace defective product, in whole or in part, by causes external to the goods such as catastrophe, power failure, improper use, unauthorized installation, unauthorized repair, disassembly or use of unauthorized parts.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER & LIMITATIONS
Centon products are not intended for use in life support, critical care, medical, safety equipment, or similar applications where product failure could result in loss of life or personal or physical harm, or any military or defense application, or any governmental procurement to which special terms or provisions may apply.
Damage or altercation of warranty stickers or original product markings will void the Warranty.
Centon shall not be liable for any damage or loss of any program or data from failed product and shall not be responsible for data recovery or backup.
WARRANTY CLAIMS AND SERVICE
If you have purchased your Centon product at a retail store and the purchase is within that retail store’s return policy, it is recommended that you exchange or return the product directly to them. Returning the product to the retailer will be much faster than sending the product to Centon directly.
If you need to file a warranty claim, please contact our customer support online or by phone 8am to5pm PST at 1-800-9-CENTON to obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.
WARRANTY RETURN POLICY AND RMA PROCEDURE
RETURN OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT COVERED BY CENTON WARRANTY
At Centon’s option, Centon shall 1) repair, 2) replace, or 3) credit the value of the product (based on the lower value of the actual purchase or market price on the date the defective product is returned.) Proper authorization, as outlined in Centon’s RMA procedure, shall be obtained prior to the return of the defective product. An RMA for defective product being returned is only valid for 30 days.
RETURN OF PRODUCTS FOR CREDIT
If Centon agrees to accept the return of product for credit, the credit shall be limited to the value of the product based on the lower value of the actual purchase or market price on the date of RMA issuance and only if such product is returned within 7 days. Proper authorization, as outlined in Centon’s RMA procedure, shall be obtained prior to the return of product for credit. An RMA for product being returned for credit is only valid for 7 days.
