About DDR3:
- Released in 2005, DDR3 supersedes DDR2 technology
- Lower power (1.5V), a 16% power reduction versus DDR2
- Data rates per pin up to 1600Mbp
- Master reset for greater stability - Not available in DDR2 or DDR1
- Auto-calibration on the output buffer for high speed interface operation
