I figured it out! I tried to format the stick to the pc i was transferring the files to to get rid of the folder i could not delete, but it would not format the stick as much as i tried! so i took the stick to the pc i was getting my files from and plugged it back in and hit format and WALLLa! it formatted my stick and cleared that folder!
