SDHC cards do not require device drivers. The card reader in which the SD card is inserted is what requires device drivers. The card reader must support Secure Digital 2.0 (SDHC) media cards. Earlier generation card readers that only support Secure Digital 1.0 (SD) media cards are not capable of reading/recognizing SDHC media. Check with the manufacturer of the card reader to verify if it supports SDHC cards or not.

- If no, please use/purchase a SDHC compatible card reader.
- If yes, please verify function of the Centon card in another device or card reader that supports SDHC. Additionally, check with PC and/or card reader’s Support website for any driver updates, or other related updates.
- Does Centon SDHC card work in other devices or card readers?
- If yes, your PC card reader either does not support SDHC cards, or requires driver update from its manufacturer.
- If no, and if other SDHC cards work in both your PC card reader and other devices, the Centon product may be faulty and requires replacement.
