Our commitment

A culture of integrity starts here.

Our Code of Conduct sets forth the standards and expectations for behavior and ethical conduct of all employees, officers, directors and vendor partners. Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or partnership.

Regularly reviewed and updated. Centon reviews and updates this Code of Conduct regularly to ensure it remains relevant and effective in promoting a culture of integrity and respect.

Labor Standards

Employment Relationship

Centon shall adopt and adhere to rules and conditions of employment that respect workers and, at a minimum, safeguard their rights under national and international labor and social security laws and regulations.

Forced Labor

There shall be no use of forced labor, whether in the form of prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor or otherwise.

Child Labor

No person shall be employed at an age younger than 15 (or 14 where local law permits), or younger than the age for completing compulsory education in the country of manufacture where that age exceeds 15.

Freedom of Association

Employees have freedom of association outside of the workplace.

Wages & Benefits

Centon shall pay employees the minimum wage required by law and shall provide all legally mandated benefits.

Hours of Work

Work hours vary by department. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break and all other breaks required by law. All standard working times are in 8-hour intervals or less.

Overtime Compensation

Non-exempt employees shall be compensated for overtime hours as legally required. Where such laws do not exist, overtime shall be compensated at a rate no less than the employee's regular hourly rate.

It is Centon's policy to create a favorable work environment in which all employees are treated equally, regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law, except where a bona fide occupational qualification exists.

Sexual & Other Unlawful Harassment

Centon will not tolerate harassment of any employee in the workplace. Harassment includes verbal, physical and visual conduct; requests for sexual favors; unwanted sexual advances; and any conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment.

Health & Safety

Centon shall provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury arising out of, linked with, or occurring in the course of work or as a result of the operation of employer facilities.

Enforced, measured and continuously improved.

Centon holds itself accountable for ensuring compliance with this Code, not just as policy, but in practice. We regularly review and evaluate effectiveness, and we provide the tools and training for every employee and manager to uphold these standards.

Clear reporting system

A formal process is in place for reporting incidents of harassment or discrimination. All complaints are handled promptly, confidentially and fairly.

Diversity & inclusion training

Centon provides training and awareness programs for all employees and managers on gender equality, diversity and inclusion.

Regular review cycle

This Code is reviewed and updated regularly to ensure it remains effective in promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
