How Centon products meet RoHS, REACH and WEEE requirements.
RoHS
Restriction of Hazardous Substances
Centon products are RoHS compliant. Centon certifies that the components used to manufacture its lead-free parts are Pb-free and meet Directive 2011/65/EU.
The substances below are held under these limits in Centon RoHS compliant products:

Exemption. Some electronic ceramic passive parts may contain lead oxide, which is exempt under Directive 2011/65/EU (Article 4, and Sections 2 and 7 of the Annex).
REACH
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals
Centon Electronics supports the goals of REACH, the European Union chemical regulation that took effect in June 2007: better chemical regulation and protection of public health, safety and the environment.
Manufacturers and importers of more than 1 ton per year of a chemical substance in the EU must register it. Centon Electronics does not import, supply or produce any substance on the REACH SVHC list, so no registration obligation applies.
WEEE
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
The WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC) took effect on 13 August 2004. It encourages and regulates the collection, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment, to protect the environment and reduce risks to human health.
Centon supports this directive and takes the steps needed to comply with it fully.
